Job Description

 

Bartenders prepare standard and special drinks for the service period in a timely and efficient manner. They must be able to prepare drinks accurately and without waste. Bartenders also have a responsibility to keep the bar area clean and hygienic. It is also a bartender's responsibility to ensure customers meet age requirements for any alcoholic beverage served.

 

Duties

 

  • Prepare drinks to be collected by servers efficiently

  • Ensure work area is clean

  • Maintain sufficient bar supplies

  • Ensure bar is neat and tidy

  • Wash bar equipment after use

 

Expectations

 

  • Professional conduct and attitude

  • Competency in bar operations

  • Accurate service of beverages

  • Clear communication with FOH staff

  • Maintain professional grooming and personal hygiene

  • Takes pride in job peformed
