Job Description

 

A server will be one of the positions in Front of House who will get to interact with customers most of their dining period in the restaurant. It is important that the employee in the position are polite and well trained in order to provide quality experience to the customers. Servers are mainly responsible for taking orders, interact, serving food and beverages to the customers and remove dinnerware from table in the timely manner. Servers are expected to have basic knowledge of all ingredients used in the set menu.

 

Duties

 

• Greet customers in professional manner

• Taking orders from customers, taking considerations of who is the first customers and going clockwise

• Able to answer any questions from customers regarding the Set Menu

• Has knowledge and efficient with POS Micros system

• Bring ordered food and beverage to customers in the timely manner, serving from the left side of customers’ seats

• Follow up with customers who are dining half way through their meal if they need any assistance or additional orders

• Clearing plates promptly once customers finished consumption, from the right side of customers’ seats

• Bring the bill to customers/hosts (if known) or put it in the middle of emptied table (other than glass ware)
