Job Description

 

To assist host/hostess in ensuring that every guest who enter into the restaurant to have a wonderful dining experience. Assistant host should always engage customers while directing customers to their assigned seats and hand over the customers to the servers. 

 

Duties

 

  • Greet and welcome customers in professional and friendly manner

  • Direct customers to their seats accordingly in an orderly manner

  • Hand over the customer to servers accordingly and inform servers if there is any special dietary requirements by the customers as inform by host

  • Answer any enquires  from the customers

 

Expectations

 

  • Have good operation an product knowledge

  • Always carry a genuine smile for customers

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout operation

  • Confident to work in an fast pace environment

  • Engage in positive interactions with all customers

  • Well groomed and maintain good personal hygiene

  • Has basic knowledge of especially French cuisine

  • Takes pride in the job performed and take responsibility in all the task assigned
